Finally I have decided

Today i have decided , No more hair colours , No more expensive Hair treatments when i just cant reach the back , No more frizzy hair from sun bleached hair no matter how much i condition it ,
So i am going to Rock the grey, I am not going to do the  typical grey 58 plus hairstyle though of short grey hair , I am going to still have longer locks , Not so long that it looks dated just long enough to wear it up when i want and down when i want ,
 Watch this space.
Rocking no makeup look for the photo but That's something i will never give up my makeup.

  1. I started Rocking MY Grey hair 100% after 2015, the year I turned 58, LOL. I had let the grey grow out a few times through the years, but just to give my hair a 'break' from constant color. I have colored my hair since my teens as in my family a grey streak starts when we are teens! I am just plain TIRED of coloring my hair. Now my 78 yr old neighbor still colors hers a honey brown. And my sister, who is now 58, is still coloring and I expect she will be one to color till the end. But I don't want to bother. I have silvery silver & white with a bit of silver and dark grey along the back, and my brows still have a lot of dark in them too. So rock it, girl.

  3. Same! I stopped having mine highlighted last December. It was costing a fortune every 5 weeks as my hair grows so quickly! I’ve also grown out my short style - I do have a lot of grey and did colour it myself a few weeks ago just to even out where the blonde is growing out, but it was still cheaper than the hairdressers! I just have a trim every 8-10 weeks now - I’m saving a fortune in money and time. Let’s face it there are so many more lovely things be doing than sitting in a hair dressers x

    1. Hello Tracey , I have colured mine since i was in my early twenties and the grey has got more resistant to dye even the ones they use in the hairdressers so i am going to save a fortune xxx

  4. I've not coloured my hair for a couple of years now, mainly due to the ridiculous cost of it. Like you I've not gone for a short cut, preferring a bob which I let grow longer before getting it cut every 6 months or so. (I hate going to the hairdressers). It's not that grey as yet, but the grey hairs have increased in the last year or so.

It's a lot less work and since reaching a certain age and experiencing hair loss, I'm glad I went natural when I did, or it could have made it a lot worse.

    1. I think you have hit the nail on the head about hairless , My mom has her hair done at the hairdressers and she is losing her hair ,If the hairdresser was any good she would advise her not to have it done but they see her as a cash cow having a set every week and he colour every 6/8 weeks , I have tried to tell her but she doesn't listen.xxx

  5. I've been toying with the idea of adding some colour to mine. It's still predominantly brown, and you can't see the white in it until you get close to me. I'm also planning a few other things due to my weight loss, as I become the person I should always have been.

  7. Rock the grey sweetie. I am now 71 and my hair is a white/gold colour and it is natural. I used to have all sorts of treatments but found in my 50's that the colours were getting thrown off and my hairdresser said that it happens in time. So I just left it and I now have this super colour that people comment on and it is all me. We do not know what colour we will actually be when we let it grow. My 50yr old daughter has done the same and hers is a darker grey but looks sensational, her new chap adores it and says he wishes all ladies would do the same. Good luck and let us know how it grows. Love Andie xxx By the way I have my hair short but my daughter has long locks down to her shoulders and she turns head.x

    1. Thank's Andie , Yes that's happening to my hair becoming more and more resistant , That is the main reason for my decision , I will do an update in a few months xxx

  8. Almost 70...colored mine one time. That was enough for me. Happy to be naturally grey. I have let it grow long enough to pull back away from my face and find it fine and freeing to do so! You're going to love your grey!

  9. I think grey hair looks absolutely brilliant worn long and accompanied by bright lipstick. There's an Italian lady in her late 60s I see in Goa, she wears a metallic thong bikini and her silver hair reaches to her waist - I want to be just like her when I grow up. xxx
