Rested and chilled

We have had a lovley holiday in Devon The caravan was comfortable and well equipped with all mod cons and was in a  in a  very quiet location  , The weather was amazing for the time of year ,  I took the decision in the end to use some gift money to buy some meals out and not take much food in the end but wished i hadn't as the food was either very expensive or not very good quality so we were disappointed
We,visited marks and Spencer and treated us to the  £10 meal deal wich was quite good and then shopped at sainsbury for the rest of the week cooking a curry and a stir fry out of a chicken and using the leftover meat for sandwiches ,
I took cheese eggs bacon and all the condiments so it didn't cost us much in the end

When we came back we celebrated , Dave's birthday with our daughter and son in law , The way we like it with  made lasagna and cake , He is four years older than me we dont usually celebrate birthdays between us anymore but out daughter insists on treating us , I wanted to make him a cake but couldn't do it without him knowing so i paid for the ingredients and Nikki made her first attempt  at making a large fruit cake .

I think she has made a great job and it tastes beautiful ,
Complete with grand prix flags and his shed , If you remember our shed from a way back post its a very good take on it.

He loves top gear and was gutted when the saga happened with the program so she has treated him to all the equipment to be able to watch it on amazon something we couldn't justify spending the money on.

I loved the charity shops in Devon ( Thanks vix for the link it was really helpful ) A lot of them were really expensive but the quality was amazing , No bitty pulled or stained clothes and really good names too ,

But as usual i was after some vintage finds and i wasn't disappointed

I bought these brand new pillowcases foe 50p each , They are very much like my wallpaper in the bedroom.

   .
This is gorgeous the stitching is amazing.

A true Antique Eiderdown , Its clean and still puffy but could do with a freshen up , Does anyone know how i could do this without washing it as i am concerned about feather loss , Or has anybody washed one in a washing machine as its to expensive to Dry Clean.

This is true Liberty vintage fabric , It is lovley and soft with a fleecy back.

A welsh wool Jacket.

A Jacobean tapestry thingy , Lol , Is it to transfer , You can tell i dont do embroidery.

And another vintage vision saucepan wich i am not sure if i will keep it yet as they always clean up well , This was £2.50.
