Its been cold today and i decide that i would not queue so early for the jumbles as the cold does not do me any good at all but most people had the same idea as there was only one person in front of me at both of them , Not a huge lot to find but some bits and bobs.
Bristol Blue glass sundae dishes.
Pretty daisy tablecloth.
Candy stripe vintage Ironing board cover.
Plastic Kitsch Barometer.
Pretty Tray cloth.
Another two finds not from the jumble sale though. This coat is from the 1950s/60s .
The last two pictures are from my aunts home they look perfect in my bedroom.
Bambi group.
The glass dolphin candlesticks are cracked but i dont care.
Thanks Auntie Freda .
xxxx
Great finds. The dolphin candlesticks are stunning a lovely reminder of a family member. The temperatures have dropped here too, its feeling really cold.
ReplyDeleteI have admired the candlesticks for years , They were in her loo lol x
ReplyDeleteIt's funny what a different perspective being the opposite part of the world gives you. I'm desperate for cold weather...the heat here is completely draining me ( over a century every week)and because of the drought it's costing us a fortune to keep everything alive...not to mention snakes and bushfires. I wish I could send some sunshine to you to improve your health xxxx
ReplyDeleteI feel so guilty about moaning now and putting it into perspective i prefer the cold to the heat because at least we can do things to keep warm like turning up the heating or like me snuggling up in a blanket while watching the tv , Snakes OMG , Hope it improves for you soon and thanks for the concern meg , This weeks tests involved a heart scan and a 48 hour recording of my heart , Hey Ho , It's never ending , Take care , Eileen xx
ReplyDeleteGreat finds and gifts, the candle sticks are lovely. I can not remember the last time that I saw a jumble sale anywhere.
ReplyDeleteThanks pam , We get quite a few here but we dont get many in December or January , Its frustrating as sometimes you have to choose between two as they are on at the same time but i wont moan as some people such as you dont have them at all, Hope you are not to cold in wales, Eileen xxx
DeleteThose are fabulous finds. Love the tablecloth.
