Happy

This is how i feel at the moment and i love the song HAPPY pharrell williams , I cant stop my foot head and anything that moves without pain moving to this tune.

For the last few weeks i have been under a cloud
Going to the doctors and the Gyni at the hospital  within a week to check out things that should not be happening to a 55 year old

But everything is fine and like the song says i feel HAPPY.
But its amazing how health issues affect your mood , There are still health issues that are being investigated like the problems with Angina type pain and severe palpitations but both these can be treated with medication so i am not worried about  them so much  and my mood has lifted  so much  that i am now in the mood for my frugal Christmas and will share as much as i can with you

Firstly we put up the Christmas tree we have had for years bough from a charity shop for  £5.00 , The decorations were also bought from a charity shop for £5.00 the lot  , The Mantle decoration was bought in a sale 10 years ago and the candle sticks were picked up at car boots over the years for 50p or £1.00 The fir cones picked up in a local park years ago too. The Christmas teddy bear was  a present from our daughter and comes out every christmas , The lanterns Ikea.

So Christmas Decorations This year were  Zero.

  2. hi Shabby

Your tree and room look lovely. It does not matter where things come from or how much they cost as long as you love them then that is all that matters and besides "new to you items" are usually better quality than things you can buy new today. Even home made items add that unique touch. I have a bag of large fir cones picked u when walking and I have also picked up some very small fir cones (I think they are larch but not sure). I was hoping to make another garland and some tree decorations but they will have to wait until the New Year when I shall start making things for next Christmas. As much as I can next year is to be a home made Christmas. I want to get back to ornaments being treasured and packed away safely and brought out year on year. I want to make some more beaded baubles for my tree from seed beads tomorrows heirlooms. I also have quite a lot of Christmas orientated kits in cross stitch and in felt which I would quite like to get worked up as well. I have run out of time for this year mores the pity. Too much to do too little time to do it. Hope you start to improve soon. Take care. Pattypan xxx

  3. Hi Shabs, sorry I havent written for ages but life has been at it big style. Hopefully most has now simmered down and apart from sir having to have super, mega open heart surgery on 23rd inst all is hopefully behaving itself. Went to 6yr old grand cubs school nativity this week. Oh boy, first he saw his dad and waved, then he saw us and waved. The rest of the cast were doing the same but they werent acting out missing front teeth and picking thedhir noses like him. He was shepherd one compete with crook. Nothing wrong with that you would think until he started playing it like an air guitar. Oh well will be good to remind him of it on his 18th birthday. Hope you have a wonderful frugal christmas.x

Hello Pamela , I have had them for 5 years now but they have got worse as they are all day every day now and in the night they wake me up as i stop breathing , There is a chance it could be the palpitations/ectopic beats that could be causing my sleep apnoea , I initially put it down to the menopause , Mine started when i had a very stressful job , did they put ypu on medication any tips would be gratefully accepted xxx
