Lots of gardening & Vintage finds

I was getting really fed up with not being able to do my garden myself so i hit upon a plan , I didnt know if it would work but i had nothing to loose,
We can't afford to have somebody else dig the garden, the quotes coming in to level tellie tubbie  land were £500, money we have haven't  got ,
My plan was to try and get my back strong so i could do the levelling myself slowly but surely , So,
Also slowly  but surely i stared to do yoga just starting off at 10 mins a day , Not complicated moves just beginners yoga and now have built  up to 40 mins 5 times a week ,
The effect on my back is fantastic my core muscles are a lot stronger and i plan to continue,
As now bit by bit i am levelling my garden
Be it on my knees but its happening ,half an hour to an hour a day some days it drains my energy with my other health issues but i rest for a few days then get back to it  .
I still have to have my repeat bloods done next week
Fingers crossed they will be ok .

This is the reason i have been absent from blogging.
This part of the Garden I am digging the vegetation up to the wall at the back .
The sod has been stored as future compost at the back of the shed .
Then next will be the lawn so that i can completely level both of the areas together , The area  in the picture below will be a gravel area hopefully with some raised beds so i can start a vegetable garden next year.

My bargain plants are coming along niceley.

The Apple Trees we bought with us should be fully grown in two years now.

And the jasmine is as beautiful as ever.

I am growing some vegetables, Tomatoes ,Beans, Courgettes and Potatoes.

The potatoes are in shopping bags behind the shed.

And my hanging baskets are coming along lovley on the shed .

Slowly but surely i will have the garden of my dreams.

Vintage Finds

I have been buying some more pretty linen and pictures  for my businesses.

The living room and bedroom are still being added to bit by bit so there are no updates as yet.

Cant get organised , Cant concentrate , I wish i was one of those people who could function normally with issues but i cant and have now stopped even trying ,
So what have i managed to do , I have found some fantastic finds and  The dressing table for the spare  room has ended up in our bedroom as i love it more than the one i painted green ,

A nice morning for a change

Its been freezing for the last few days i have been wearing a really thick jumper that i bought from a charity market stall for 50p All hand knit.
Its new, somebody knits them for the charity stall on the market , I have mixed feelings about the issue as somebody took the time and care to knit the jumper for the charity then they sell it for 50p .
But i am happy with my bargain and if i didn't buy it then somebody else would.
So its also come in handy for working in the garden wich i did this morning First of all i finished of the potatoes i have planted in bags behind the shed , I have spaced it out doing two every time i went in the garden as digging does not do me  any good at all .
The sod that was dug up by Craig the year before last was staked  up by the wall and  the worms have done there work an its made beautiful compost .
The potatoes are roosters £2.70 from Wilkinson , I have had great success before growing potatoes this way plus i dont have to find them in the ground.

Then i drilled some holes in these planters and planted some bulbs too late really but i hope they will take.

This is what i did the last time we had some nice weather , Remember me saying that i had a trunk of Carrie,Well i have plated a herb garden , The seeds are germinating lovley now, Glad i covered it with plastic with this cold weather these last few days
The few pots at the front are for me to replenish our daughters herb bed.

The garden is waking up , This climber loves it here , It has flourished since we bought it from our old house.

The budlia  i cut back about a month ago.

These plants i bought of ebay to create a back drop for my garden because of the lack of a high fence that would create structure.
Then there was the reduced plants that are coming along nicely too.

My David Austin Rose was amongst the reduce plants below.

Then there is the Apple Trees that we bought with up , i  would say another year or two and they will be fully grown.

Then lastly the plants i grew from seed.

Now the Huge  task of weeding begins .
