Going round in circles

Well the ultrasound has come back clear , The Doctors words , Nothing sinister is causing the raised diaphragm which is fantastic news  but she wants    me to see the neurologist again as it can be caused by neurological conditions , So i have an appointment in march as the neurologist is on holiday for the next three weeks.

Fairground ride comes to mind .

Anyway getting on with things as you do,
This is the most gorgeous original  1960's gold thread crimplene  fabric  , That for some really frustrating reason wont photograph its true colour. Its gold.

Some fabulous 1940s family photos

1936 cast flying Ducks

I forgot about these lurking in my cupboards

  1. I love old photos. Not so keen on crimplene though as a teenager in the 60's I made a few crimplene dresses including one with a matching coat. All the rage then. I like your frames too.

  3. Beautiful frames. How frustrating the medical professionals are, on a positive note at least they are still trying and hopefully this time you will get some answers. Take care.

  4. If nothing else at least you've got a very thorough NHS consultant!
I always snap up that 1960s crimplene when I see it, it's a joy to sew with - is there enough of it for you to make yourself a sleeveless shift dress? the gold would look lovely with your colouring.
Love those ducks and the Indian dark wood frame. xxx

  5. Good news all was clear, but frustrating that you still need answers.
The fabric looks nice, it would make some lovely cushions.
Photos are another thing I tend to see a lot of at the car boot sales, I find them fascinating, I have to be careful what I buy though as the idea is to buy to sell, not keep. xx

  7. I hope you'll forgive me for saying 'I told you so' So glad to hear your good news. Just put the next appointment to the back of your mind. To quote my favourite anchorite. 'All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well', Blessings

  8. Fab photos. Why does everyone in 1940s look happy, slim and well dressed? Sometimes think that period of basic food and limited but cared for clothes was the best!!!
