Other health issues

OH Not again , I had to have a chest Xray for a persistent cough and throat clearing and the doctor rang earlier saying that they want to do a further scan as one side of my diaphragm is higher than the other , I don't know what this means and i am not going to google it but i was feeling really happy with the no MS Diagnosis, Oh well its a waiting time again.

So i am going to concentrate on buying stuff from jumble sales Auctions etc to take my mind of it in the meantime , These are this weeks finds.

  1. Great thrifting finds. And don't borrow tomorrow's worries today: just tell yourself that all is well and they're just double checking. (Fingers crossed.)

  2. It is hard not to worry, it is just one thing after another isn't it, poor you. Just take one day at a time, and try not to get stressed.xxx

  3. Bless your heart!
I finally went to Dr. after weeks of cold/cough when I got a pretty serious pain in my upper right hand side. He told me I'd broken ribs! Actually, I was rather relieved it wasn't pneumonia, etc. Time will heal. Glad you feel good enough to get out to sales! Your "finds" are lovely!

  6. Hi, I left a comment when you thought you might have MS, as I've had it for over 20 years. Regarding chest X-rays, they always call me back for a second time because they say I have a shadow on my lung. Then I have to remind them that I have an enormous hiatus hernia and that's what's causing the shadow. Do they ever read your medical history I wonder. By the way, since I've been on medication the last 3 or 4 years the hernia gives me no problems whatsoever, and I don't let the MS bother me either. I just focus on what I can do, and not what I can't. I love the transfers, I have quite a lot of vintage ones, as well as very modern, but I rarely use them, as I love doing freestyle (or should that be free roaming) embroidery?

  7. Hello Lesley , Yes i do remember your last comment , I think i replied as i usually do , Thanks you have made me feel a bit better , The diaphragm is the area where i get the severe muscle spasms which i will remind the doctor next time i see her , I did have an ultra sound about 18 months ago the only thing they found then was a kidney stone so hopefully that will be the same , I am the same as you i do what i can and don't worry about what i can't do , I try to remain positive but it worried me last night but you have made me feel better , Thanks very much for that , Eileen xxx
