I have been away from blogging for a while undecided weather to continue or not but i have decided that i wish to carry on sharing my frugal tips and vintage finds.
To be honest i was a bit spooked when a researcher from the BBC one show contacted me and said he loved my blog and was after three bloggers to appear on the one show giving tips ,
The thing is there were some things on my blog that i really did not want to be more public than there were already and deleted my blog while i had a think.
The thing is there were some things on my blog that i really did not want to be more public than there were already and deleted my blog while i had a think.
So i am back with a new name and have deleted all my blog posts except the one about my old kitchen which i am still gutted to have left as its the only photos i have of it.
I am planning to take new photos of my home as it is now
To start off here are some photos of my vintage finds over the last few months.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness ..that would, have spooked me too !
ReplyDeleteI know , I refused , Might have been different if they had given me less than a days notice xxx

ReplyDeleteThanks Maggie xxx
DeleteGlad you're back, I love seeing your finds and the way you use things in your home. We tread a fine line between letting people (who are, let's face it, largely unknown to us) into our lives, and keeping things private. It's human nature to talk about ourselves, but just how much should we reveal? Especially when the world and his wife could be reading.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sooze , Happy to be back , I agree entirely with what you say about privacy , xxx
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to see you back again, I have missed you. Xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Leisha , Hopefully there will be a lot more posts coming up xx

DeleteSo glad you are back! I love your vintage finds. The art deco tea pot is one of the most wonderful things I've seen lately. If I wasn't decluttering, this would inspire me to be on the hunt.
ReplyDeleteThnks Sam ., I think the same about the tea pot but had it on ebay for just £20 and it didnt sell , I cannot understand it xxx
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, I love to see your finds
ReplyDeleteThanks sue , Glad you like to see my finds xxx
DeleteLovely that you are back. I wondered where you were. I think it would have spooked me too. There is a fine line not to cross when blogging whilst still keeping your privacy and integrity. It is not easy when the natural inclination is to share but hey ho all's well that ends well. Some lovely finds as usual. Look forward to your future posts. Pattypan x
ReplyDeletesmashing to have you back. I was very concerned when you didn't appear for so long. Needless to say life is its usual chaotic self here. Lent my house to friends for a summer break. They had always been wary about us standoffish southerners and our extortionate house prices. They arrived for our music festival, had a ball and the rest of the week followed suit. They said they had never met such warm friendly helpful people and the prices were very reasonable. We all end the week feeling very happy and they have already booked for the same week 'chez nous'. And to think we started out as face book friends. cant wait to see them again.x
ReplyDeleteHello buttercup , Glad you had a ball , Nice to hear from you again , I am on facebook as shabby chic vintage cottage xxx
ReplyDeleteLove the patchwork and the poodle hankie box! Good to see you again. x
ReplyDeleteThanks vix , I thought of you when i picked up that box lol x
